Mommy & Me Classes (M&M)  Ages 2-3

Have a joyful experience making music together with your child. This 40 min class is designed to introduce toddlers to the exciting world of music. With mommy and/or daddy by their side, children feel safe to explore a variety of rhythm and percussion instruments to vocalize along and to dance. Children will be developing their motor skills, speaking abilities, and improving attention span, all while having fun to the sounds of traditional and folk songs as well as classical favorites. The instructor is a trained music therapist and a certified Kindermusik educator.

I Make Music Classes (IMM)  Ages 3-4

Witness your child learning the very basics of music theory and performing their first rhythmical improvisation. In this 40 minute class, the students will be singing, dancing, listening to music, playing different types of percussion instruments, coloring, and interacting with peers. This class provides a fun and heightened learning environment. Each student sits at their own keyboard. Parent participation required.

Music for Little Mozarts (MLM)  Ages 4-5

This 40 minute class is based on the comprehensive series of books Music for Little Mozarts. Small class, maximum 6 students, provides the necessary attention for every student. Weekly home assignments, regular in-class performances and bi-annual formal recital experiences encourage steady growth of musical skills.

Guitar Classes Starting in September! Ages 8-11 & 12 and up

Play guitar better than your friends play Guitar Hero! This beginning guitar class is designed to provide students with all the necessary tools for playing guitar at any level. The focus is on mastery of the first position of the neck, as well as emphasis on right hand techniques like strumming, alternate picking, and fingerpicking. Students will learn how to read standard notation, rhythm and counting, and tablature. All the skills learned in this class translate into any style of music the students wish to pursue.
