Rainbow Bridge Music Studio hosted our "Baroque Festival" on January 25th. This was our first themed recital, and was so successful that we are going to have a themed recital every January! Students performed music selections from the Baroque period, and also delivered information about the composer of the piece they played. This made for an entertaining as well as educational experience for all! We also had a guest artist all the way from Russia! Tatiana Sedova presented her artwork with a painting of costumes of the Baroque period decorated with Frivolite Lace made with a tatting shuttle...a very time consuming and personal form of making lace.
